El Viejo, Nicaragua experiences a relatively consistent warm climate throughout the year. The dry season, which spans from January to May, brings temperatures that often reach the mid-30s Celsius during the day and dip into the low 20s at night. June to September marks the start of the rainy season, with temperatures gradually decreasing by about 1°C on average, but still remaining warm. From October to December, the temperature cools slightly, but not significantly, before returning to its usual warmth in January. Overall, the region's tropical climate means that temperatures rarely drop below 18°C or rise above 40°C for more than a few days at a time.
